The 90's nostalgia!

Life is running at a super pace..we all think we would match up one day! Sorry to disappoint you but it is not gonna happen...day by day its going to be faster and much more complicated.. Whenever i sit all by my self and think... i really miss old days ...old times! You know which times i'am talking about?? Times when world cups were super important.. times when making rasna was a major task in summer vacations. I remember the uncomplicated life then without too much hassle. There was lesser traffic on the roads we would take many more strolls on the road then today.

As soon as the summers were about to start the main focus was to get the coolers ready with new pads and the smoothing essence, the day it was switched on , it was no less than a celebration.

An inverter free time, when power cuts were perfect opportunities for families to gather on the roofs and sing songs under the moonlight and not to miss the excitement roar which was there when the electricity used to return! oh what times! 

When we use to write songs , mind it, only serial wise with favorites on the top to get recorded from cassette wale bhaiya and very impatiently wait for the recorded cassette to listen to on our walkmans.

Times when dekh bhae dekh and zabaan sambhalke were the super hit shows with maximum TRPs and Annu Kapoor;'s antakshri was a major source of entertainment.

I remember all us cousins creating so many new games and then ardently playing them all day without getting bored...unlike today when the kids have latest model of PS2 but cant play enough because they get bored too soon.

Even the birthday parties were so much fun then..there were no fancy swings..no super decorations.. the day started with blowing balloons and the star of the party were passing the parcel and return gifts 

There was so much more time on our hands...as a family we used to sit with each other me my parents my cousins everyone in the family and it was so much fun!

I agree life has progressed..with much more comfort in our homes, a lot more enhanced technology,but all these simple joys of life are missing! little happiness and little twinkle in our eyes is missing! 

i feel blessed to be a 90's kid and super proud that i can carry on the legacy of leading  a simple life with such beautiful memories..
